Hurrah, your application has impressed us! We’ll get to know each other in person during an initial interview – please feel free to use the meeting to ask us as many questions as you like and form your own impression of us.
Depending on the responsibilities of the role, we will invite you to a second interview, during which we will go into more detail and, if appropriate, introduce you to other team members.
Whether after one or two interviews: if it’s a good fit for us, we’ll call you to confirm the offer and clarify any outstanding questions. If it isn’t the right fit this time, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
Once you’ve been offered the role over the phone, we’ll send you your employment contract and discuss the next steps. Before you start, you’ll receive all the important onboarding information – including details of your welcome session on your first day at work.
How to apply successfully
1. Cover letter
Many applicants find themselves suddenly struggling with writer’s block when it comes to the cover letter. So, just relax and focus on the essentials: tell us which role you’re interested in and tell us a bit about yourself. Mention your previous work experience and any specialist knowledge relevant to the role you’re applying for. Your salary expectations and your earliest possible start date – and your cover letter is basically done.
If you have any questions beforehand, simply get in touch with our People & Culture team, ideally Adlin Ruf directly.
2. CV
The tabular CV is the centrepiece of any job application. Here, you briefly list the key stages of your professional and/or academic career to date. A clear overview is essential, and this should include the following points:
- Personal details
- Work experience, including a brief overview of your responsibilities
- Please feel free to mention in the list if any employment contracts were on a fixed-term basis
- Your education and training, including your qualifications
- Additional skills, knowledge and – if you wish – relevant interests
3. Certificates
Please provide evidence of any qualifications you have obtained, work placements you have completed or relevant professional experience by submitting appropriate documentation such as certificates or similar. As with your CV, we are interested in the documents that may be relevant to your new role.
