FIDEST
Framework for the intelligent design of decentralised security technologies
The FIDEST project is developing a framework for the intelligent design of secure distributed applications. The basic idea is that the user (who need not necessarily be an expert) models their use case using an intuitive editor, and our framework automatically generates an optimal, executable code framework ready for deployment, based on decentralised security technologies (e.g. blockchain, smart contracts, but also two-factor authentication).
FIDEST does not offer a stand-alone solution for a specific sub-problem and is independent of cloud providers or software vendors. Rather, it provides comprehensive support to application developers in all IT security matters, from the conception and development of their application through to the simulation of attack or scaling scenarios, always taking into account performance requirements and implementation costs.
