AI Solutions Architect (all genders)

  • Reutlingen / Berlin
  • Full time
  • Permanent position
  • as of now
  • Software Development

bitbase? What’s that?

We get that question a lot.
Of course, not from our constantly growing customer base of medium-sized businesses, corporations, and associations — they already know us from many successful projects. We work from our home base in Reutlingen, as well as from our offices in Berlin and Tunis (the Silicon Valley of North Africa), and, more recently, in India.

Ok, and what is it you do?

In short: we help companies navigate the jungle of digitalization and regulatory requirements on every level.
We provide our clients with comprehensive support in governance, risk management, and compliance — and we also develop software solutions that meet all security and quality standards.
And if you come up with something new — we’re all ears.

And why should I join you?

You don’t just want to talk about artificial intelligence — you want to make an impact?
As an AI Solutions Architect (all genders), you’ll put our AI strategy into action — from idea to prototype to productive application. Whether it’s internal helper tools or client-facing solutions, you’ll develop future-proof applications that create real value — not projects that end up forgotten in a drawer.

And will I be doing it all on my own?

Of course not - you’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team of highly qualified experts in software development, business administration, law, systems engineering, design, and concept development.
And if you ever need more support, just say the word — we’ll make it happen.

We’re looking for an AI Solutions Architect (all genders) to join our team full-time in Reutlingen or Berlin, starting as soon as possible.

Your tasks

  • Analyze internal processes and identify specific opportunities for digitalization, automation, and AI — focusing on scalability, efficiency, and impact
  • Develop tailored helper tools, micro-apps, and automated workflows
  • Support business units in implementing AI solutions — from use case identification and prototyping to feasibility validation, operational rollout, and scaling
  • Assist in the selection, introduction, and use of digital tools, driving company-wide transformation
  • Bring your technical curiosity to the table: test new tools, frameworks, and APIs, evaluate their potential, and turn promising concepts into real applications
  • Conduct workshops and provide consulting on Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, or agent logic — making complex concepts clear and actionable
  • Contribute your expertise to client projects — from use case development and architecture design to technical implementation
  • Bridge technology, business, and organization — ensuring innovation leads to real results

Your talent

  • Degree in computer science, data science, business informatics, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
  • Extensive hands-on experience implementing productive AI applications (beyond prototyping or proof of concept)
  • Deep knowledge of AI frameworks, LLM technologies, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
  • Confident working with Generative AI tools, prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, and automated pipelines
  • Practical experience designing, evaluating, and scaling cloud infrastructures and building data-driven services
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to think of technical solutions with real economic impact
  • Excellent communication skills, team spirit, and enthusiasm for exploring, evaluating, and implementing new ideas

Nice to have

  • Experience establishing internal AI governance structures (e.g., data protection, AI Act, risk assessment)
  • Knowledge of low-code/no-code automation tools (Power Automate, Make, Zapier, etc.)
  • Project experience in consulting or client-facing environments
