Great success for professor at ESB Business School of Reutlingen University

Prof. Dr. Braun honored for "Excellent Technology Transfer Neckar-Alb".

bbg as a research partner is part of the success story.

A great success for the ESB Business School of Reutlingen University and also a great success for the bbg bitbase group. Professor Dr. Anja Braun received the award for "Excellent Technology Transfer Neckar-Alb" from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Reutlingen for the joint research project FIDEST.

In research partnership with the bbg bitbase group, Prof. Dr. Braun developed a framework for the intelligent design of secure distributed applications. The basic idea of the expert for Circular Economy was to enable a not necessarily expert user to model his use case with an intuitive editor and to automatically generate an optimal, executable code framework for the developed framework, which is ready for distribution based on decentralized security technologies, such as blockchain, smart contracts but also 2-factor authentication. "This enables FIDEST," says Nicolas Fahr of bbg, "for example, a business analyst who has no expertise in IT security technologies to go from an application idea to a secure, executable code framework in a matter of hours."

The bbg worked hand in hand with Braun and Reutlingen University under Fahr's leadership on the implementation. Both sides benefited from the close exchange of knowledge and relevant key technologies. For bbg, the research results mean a strengthening of its innovative power, expanded competencies, but also valuable competitive advantages and access to completely new markets. And the story continues: During the implementation of FIDEST, a research gap was identified for which a further collaborative research project is pending.
