Gamification app and mobile campaign for smart parking
Background
The first interactive parKing game
We developed the parKING iPhone app on behalf of BBDO Proximity for the smart Center Berlin.
The game was based on the classic game of ‘musical chairs’. To mark the app’s launch, an event was organised for the smart Center Berlin, at which eight teams competed against one another.
The app was awarded two Silver Lions at the Cannes Festival of Creativity in the categories ‘Best Use of Mobile Device’ and ‘Best Use of Special Event’.
How it works
As long as the music is playing, the teams have to drive around the city. When the music stops, they have to find a parking space... and confirm this with a photo. The last team to park is out, and the next round begins. Until only the winners are left!
